Let’s look at tax and spend per capita then let’s look at some spending details. That includes future obligations for irresponsible inane projects. Maryland spends more per student than most other states yet our education system is mediocre at best. O’Malley has obligated the state for billions for offshore wind mills which will do nothing but provide a windfall for the constructors and will be dormant within five years of completion. Much the same as his white elephant hotel he had built in the city. Every year of O’Malley’s reign expenditures have increased. He has instituted over 33 new taxes during his reign claiming some kind of deficit including a “structural” deficit, whatever that is.

Abby,
Not only are wages stagnating, but hours are being cut along with people losing jobs…

No our august legislators have raised taxes, tolls & fees 32 times & will still be crying for more spending & more revenue come next session. While higher taxes may not affect your bottom line, check with the average, middle class MD taxpayer who watches the $$ flow out to feed the hungry gov beast while wages continue stagnate. Yeah, O’Malley’s tenure has been great for him & his pals, not much for all Free Staters’ from Western MD to the Eastern Shore.
